Position Summary

Responsible for performing all HR activities and daily operations for our site in Franklin, Massachusetts. Ensuring the company’s goals are being achieved by supporting, implementing and sustaining (global) human resources programs and company initiatives. Providing and reviewing HR services including policies, procedures, talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, records management, benefits and compensation, performance management and training and development. Job Duties:

  • Partners with leadership and site management to align human resources programs with business objectives. Promotes a company culture that is consistent with the vision, mission and values of AR Metallizing;
  • Drives employee engagement and retention by working with managers on site and with HR peers on other sites to leverage best practices globally;
  • Responsible for talent acquisition in Franklin by working closely together with Internal Recruiter to attract & on board the right talent;
  • Reinforces the performance management process, including employee development, training needs and linking this to the compensation philosophy;
  • Supports & guides local managers in their business & talent needs and completes projects that helps drive the business forward;
  • Provides local HR practice excellence to fulfill all legislation requirements related to federal, state and industry-specific regulatory compliance (industrial relations).
  • Identifies, implements and coordinates employee training and development programs based on the performance management, onboarding & organizational EHS required program;
  • Administers compensation, recognition and benefit programs. Evaluates on salary benchmarking and recommends for improvement to remain competitive and fiscally responsible. Leads the annual benefit review process analyzing costs and facilitating open enrollment meetings;
  • Being able to manage and review the payroll process independently.

Position Requirements:

  • BS or MS degree; minimum professional certification preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION:  Process Operators – Coater, Slitter, Metallizer, Sheeter The Process Operator is an integral part of our manufacturing team. Primary responsibilities include set up and operation of any of the following machines-coater, slitter, metallizer, or sheeter while ensuring customer satisfaction, quality, and safety. This position reports to a Shift Supervisor. Work schedule will be 12 hour rotating shifts either days or evenings, but will require flexibility and the ability to work overtime if needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up and operates coating, slitting, metalizing, or sheeting machines
  • Load rolls of paper onto the machines.
  • Set up machine within established tolerance levels.
  • Monitor all necessary adjustments.
  • Operate overhead hoist, trucks and dollies to transport materials to and from machine.
  • Work from production schedules, work orders, specification sheets, checklists and verbal instructions to attain required production quantities with appropriate quality levels.
  • Monitor quality of product throughout process.
  • Monitor condition of equipment and process control devices to insure that they are in proper working condition.
  • Conduct various tests to determine whether product complies with established specification.
  • Identify malfunctions, process problems and unusual conditions and report such situations to Supervisor.
  • Take active role in the analysis and troubleshooting process to correct problems.
  • Clean machine and work area in accordance to established specifications.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Prior experience in a similar machine operator positions a plus.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds required.
  • Must be capable of using judgment to plan and perform set ups and operate within standard procedures.
  • Ability to operate a forklift preferred.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding English required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend safety policies and regulations as well as basic product and process documentation.
  • Must be capable of using judgment to plan and perform set ups and operate within standard procedures.
  • Proficient in basic math. Must be able to perform basic arithmetic; i.e., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, including decimals and fractions, simple use of formulas, charts, drawings, specifications, schedules, checking of reports, forms, records and comparable data where interpretation is required.

Position Summary

The Production Shift Supervisor directs all activities within the production area on a defined shift to optimize performance and efficiencies while emphasizing EHS compliance, product quality and employee engagement. We are currently looking for supervisor that can perform 3rd Shift. This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities: The following duties and responsibilities are representative and may be expanded.

  • Provide a safe work environment for each employee, promoting safe employee behavior and conformance to established practices and procedures to keep that employee safe along with those the work around.
  • Work closely with the crew members to consistently produce a quality product to established procedures and practices which meet or exceed the expectations of both internal and external customers.
  • Fully utilize the ISO document system to keep the processes from exceeding normal variation according to established guidelines.
  • Oversee productivity on shift to reach or exceed efficiency goals. Monitor an report deviations from production targets and take necessary steps to correct deficiencies.
  • Develop new and experienced crew members through training.
  • Provide troubleshooting/breakdown recovery assistance in a safe and efficient manner with the minimum waste of time and materials.
  • Strive for continuous improvement through root cause analysis and implementation of control devices such as preventative maintenance and documented work instructions.
  • Maintain a commitment to 5S for an organized and clean work environment that meets or exceeds housekeeping expectations.

Supervisory Responsibilities This position directly supervises approximately twenty production employees. Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Positions Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration, Engineering Technology or equivalent
  • Must have five to eight years supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Must be proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
  • Must be proficient with ERP software (MS AX Dynamics) and Productivity/Timekeeping software (Paycor)
  • Project management/leadership skills

Position Summary

The Quality Assurance Manager provides leadership and guidance in establishing an effective and robust quality assurance system that promotes customer satisfaction and positively impacts the financial performance of the site. He/she is accountable for the overall development and implementation of the site’s Quality Management System (QMS) and for ISO 9001 compliance. As a key member of the management team, lead the Quality Department as a result driven leader, building trust and credibility throughout all levels of the organization. Create and model an ownership mindset throughout all levels of the site by measuring KPI’s for all departments and the plant through personal and team accountability. Drives continuous improvement efforts and defect reduction initiatives to establish an effective Quality Management System (QMS). The Quality Assurance Manager leads quality efforts with functional groups (sales, engineering, manufacturing, planning, etc.) and facilitates the activity to develop and define effective processes. In addition, the position manages the internal audit, CAPA and document control systems. Reports directly to the Site Manager.

Job Duties:

  • Initiates, implements and leads quality improvement activities as appropriate (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma) to raise the performance of the company’s product lines.
  • Educates and trains employees as to their impact in the quality management system.
  • Develops, implements, manages and integrates a QMS for manufacturing plants.
  • Serves as the primary quality control resource for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Manages quality control personnel on a day-to-day basis.
  • Supports concurrent engineering efforts by participating in design development projects representing quality assurance and the customer.
  • Designs, implements and documents procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
  • Establishes and implements metrics (process capability, control charts, measurement quality) for monitoring system effectiveness and to enable managers to make sound product quality decisions.
  • Performs root-cause analysis and other problem solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Establishes collection and analysis systems of statistical data to predict trends that will affect improvement of product quality.
  • Analyzes customers’ product specifications to establish efficient, cost-effective requirements for ease of manufacture and reproducibility.
  • Develops quality planning methods for all product lines.
  • Develops process certification standards and assist in process certification.
  • Monitors vendor performance and establish criteria and rating system for critical vendors.
  • Interacts with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with manufacturing and development personnel.
  • Oversees calibration and testing programs.
  • Reports to management on quality issues, trends and losses.
  • Participates in internal and external quality audits.
  • Interfaces with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality control and assure that effective corrective action is implemented.
  • Report to top management on the performance of the QMS (e.g., results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement.
  • Manage, coordinate, and oversee all activities for maintaining/obtaining QMS certifications such as ISO9001.

Position Summary

Responsible for overall EHS in defining our industrial strategy and making sure our approach to manufacturing quality standards is aligned with market and customer expectations. He/she will also lead in prioritizing safety particularly employee safety. This position will be a key link between EHS and the overall operations, engineering, research, and Safety. Direct report to Site Manager, Genk.

Job Duties:

  • Develops company safety policy and prevention strategy, safety procedures, risk analysis, annual action programme, task risks analysis, etc;
  • Cooperates with management team in maintaining compliance with regulatory and company requirements;
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement effort in the EH&S department;
  • Inspects facility, machinery, and safety equipment in order to identify and correct potential hazards and to ensure EH&S regulatory compliance;
  • Reviews plans and specifications for introduction or construction of new machinery or equipment in order to determine if all safety requirements have been met;
  • Conducts or directs testing of air quality, noise, temperature levels to verify compliance with health and safety regulations. Drives actions in case of non compliance and reports on the status of all actions;

Position Summary

The IT System Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers and Partners. This individual will assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of our standard Project Management Methodology. Position Summary

This role will assist in the design and development of deliverables identified through conversations with system analysts, end users, and third-party implementation/development groups. The position requires familiarity with all phases of the software development life cycle, in particular, .Net and Microsoft Dynamics AX. Reports to IT Manager.

Job Duties:

  • Design and code additions and updates to current AX system per requirements captured from multiple business units.
  • Work with project managers, system analysts, end users, and the development team to identify and implement innovative solutions to business challenges.
  • Manage multiple Dynamics AX environments, promoting AX models while following established Microsoft Best Practices, and Company development control protocols.
  • Perform debugging and testing of all AX code and assist with any issues related to production or development environments.
  • Execute all phases of software development to include design and planning, development, unit testing, QA testing, installation, deployment, and support.
  • Create and maintain functional requirements and technical specification documentation.
  • Develop in MS Dynamics 365 using X++, SSRS, .NET and C# development languages.
  • Maintain familiarity with other Object-Oriented languages, C#, VB.Net, Java, and the .Net Framework.

Requirements & skills

  • Provide Architectural Recommendations to build various AX solutions
  • At least 3 year experience in MS Dynamics AX 2012 R2/R3 – Dynamics 365 for Operations
  • Proven experience Customizing in Microsoft Dynamics AX environments
  • Proficient in MS technologies and vertical oriented programming including .NET, C#, X++
  • Experienced in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or above
  • Great Communication Skills
  • Working with Collaborative Teams & Training
