Position Summary

Responsible for performing all HR activities and daily operations for our site in Franklin, Massachusetts. Ensuring the company’s goals are being achieved by supporting, implementing and sustaining (global) human resources programs and company initiatives. Providing and reviewing HR services including policies, procedures, talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, records management, benefits and compensation, performance management and training and development. We are looking for a hands on professional who enjoys acting on different levels, working in a manufacturing company and being part of a global team. Reporting to the VP Global HR.

Job Duties:

  • Partners with leadership and site management to align human resources programs with business objectives. Promotes a company culture that is consistent with the vision, mission and values of AR Metallizing;
  • Drives employee engagement and retention by working with managers on site and with HR peers on other sites to leverage best practices globally;
  • Responsible for talent acquisition in Franklin by working closely together with Internal Recruiter to attract & on board the right talent;
  • Reinforces the performance management process, including employee development, training needs and linking this to the compensation philosophy;
  • Supports & guides local managers in their business & talent needs and completes projects that helps drive the business forward;
  • Provides local HR practice excellence to fulfill all legislation requirements related to federal, state and industry-specific regulatory compliance (industrial relations).
  • Identifies, implements and coordinates employee training and development programs based on the performance management, onboarding & organizational EHS required program;
  • Administers compensation, recognition and benefit programs. Evaluates on salary benchmarking and recommends for improvement to remain competitive and fiscally responsible. Leads the annual benefit review process analyzing costs and facilitating open enrollment meetings;
  • Being able to manage and review the payroll process independently.

Position Requirements:

  • BS or MS degree; minimum professional certification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience; experience in manufacturing industry desirable
  • Great interpersonal & communication skills at all levels

JOB DESCRIPTION:  Process Operators – Coater, Slitter, Metallizer, Sheeter The Process Operator is an integral part of our manufacturing team. Primary responsibilities include set up and operation of any of the following machines-coater, slitter, metallizer, or sheeter while ensuring customer satisfaction, quality, and safety. This position reports to a Shift Supervisor. Work schedule will be 12 hour rotating shifts either days or evenings, but will require flexibility and the ability to work overtime if needed.

Process Operator – Slitter 2S Shift 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm M, Tu, W, Th, F

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up and operates coating, slitting, metalizing, or sheeting machines
  • Load rolls of paper onto the machines.
  • Set up machine within established tolerance levels.
  • Monitor all necessary adjustments.
  • Operate overhead hoist, trucks and dollies to transport materials to and from machine.
  • Work from production schedules, work orders, specification sheets, checklists and verbal instructions to attain required production quantities with appropriate quality levels.
  • Monitor quality of product throughout process.
  • Monitor condition of equipment and process control devices to insure that they are in proper working condition.
  • Conduct various tests to determine whether product complies with established specification.
  • Identify malfunctions, process problems and unusual conditions and report such situations to Supervisor.
  • Take active role in the analysis and troubleshooting process to correct problems.
  • Clean machine and work area in accordance to established specifications.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Prior experience in a similar machine operator positions a plus.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds required.
  • Must be capable of using judgment to plan and perform set ups and operate within standard procedures.
  • Ability to operate a forklift preferred.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding English required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend safety policies and regulations as well as basic product and process documentation.
  • Must be capable of using judgment to plan and perform set ups and operate within standard procedures.
  • Proficient in basic math. Must be able to perform basic arithmetic; i.e., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, including decimals and fractions, simple use of formulas, charts, drawings, specifications, schedules, checking of reports, forms, records and comparable data where interpretation is required.
  • Good communication skills required.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
  • Experience with 5S a plus.

Position Summary

The Production Shift Supervisor directs all activities within the production area on a defined shift to optimize performance and efficiencies while emphasizing EHS compliance, product quality and employee engagement. We are currently looking for supervisor that can perform 2nd and 3rd Shift. This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing Operations.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee and supervise the overall production execution on shift to reach or exceed efficiency goals. Work closely with the team to consistently produce quality products which meet or exceed the expectations of both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by promoting safe employee behavior and conformance to establish practices and procedures complying with company and legal standard.
  • Fully utilize the ISO document system to keep the processes from exceeding normal variation according to established guidelines.
  • Monitor report deviations from production targets and take necessary steps to correct deficiencies.
  • Train and develop new and experienced team members
  • Provide troubleshooting/breakdown recovery assistance in a safe and efficient manner with the minimum waste of time and materials.
  • Strive for continuous improvement through root cause analysis and implementation of control devices such as preventative maintenance and documented work instructions.
  • Maintain a commitment to 5S for an organized and clean work environment that meets or exceeds housekeeping expectations.
  • Participate in process improvement projects to strike for future success.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position directly supervises approximately twenty production employees. In accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, supervisory responsibilities include talent acquisition, training & development, planning, performance management, assigning and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Position Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration, Engineering Technology or equivalent;
  • Minimum of five years supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting;
  • Hands on leadership skills and ability to engage & motivate employees;
  • Sense of ownership with a solution oriented attitude;
  • Good communication skills at all levels
  • Analyzing, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience in production/timekeeping software

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The noise level is the manufacturing environment is usually loud. Hearing protection is required.

Job Duties:

Position Summary

The AX Analyst is responsible for the existing Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 ERP system as well as implementing and leading enhancements. Responsible for various IT projects bringing value to our end-users while providing solutions that best preserves the upgradability of the application. The AX Analyst will interact with various business departments and reports to the VP Global Operations.

Job Duties:

  • Implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 in Brazilian facility and leading the project of upgrading to AX 7.0 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to meet organizational needs;
  • Working closely with teams of major projects to ensure goals and deadlines are successfully achieved, and the budget is respected.
  • Developing best practices, techniques and tools for project execution, and key performance metrics to increase the likelihood of project success.
  • Serving as an escalation point for support personnel and assists with determining whether a system change or configuration point is needed to resolve issue.
  • Preparing instructional manuals or job aids, data setup requirements, flows and procedures as documentation for AX changes / projects.
  • Developing training documentation and trains end-users.

Requirements & skills

  • BS or MS in Commercial / Engineer or equivalent

Position Summary

As an international sales manager you will identify, evaluate and manage (new) metallized paper label business and marketing initiatives to create demand for metallized paper. In this position you are responsible for developing relationships throughout the value chain with a specific focus on end users and you will be accountable for creating pull through of our end user channel. Reporting line to VP Sales and Marketing Europe, Asia and Africa.

Job Duties:

  • Increase business opportunities and build the pipeline for accelerated new business growth;
  • Work with VP Sales and Marketing to focus segments and a target list of end users to grow our share;
  • Develop strategic partnerships and establish relationships, which result in efficiently customer meetings to identify products and processes that match their needs;

  • Being able to interact in a matrix organization;
  • Knowledge of the paper/packing industry preferred;

Position Summary

Job Duties:

  • Manage the production system and verification on planning’s needs
  • Manages and organizes the production floor, work of the shift supervisors and Production team
  • Prepares and explains to the Direction the budget and participates to the definition of investments
  • Plans, with the maintenance manager, the operations of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance on the machines
  • Manages and coordinates the ordinary problems that should appear in production, with the support of Direction if necessary
  • Sends the Production reporting to the Direction
  • In agreement with the Quality department, controls the productive process (kg produced, efficiency of the machines, refuse, defects, complaints,…)
  • Identifies, with the shift supervisor’s support, any training needs, in relation to the improvement projects; agrees with HR department the training moments. Identifies the tiling periods that have been made to answer the specific training needs of Company Personnel.
  • Establishes, in agreement with HR, disciplinary actions against the Production workers.
  • Manages the internal logistics and storage warehouse of finished product, raw materials and semi-finished products.
  • Manages the inventory operation, coordinating the various team of operators
  • Manages the documentation required by the ISO 9001 certification

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting;
  • Hands on leadership skills and ability to engage & motivate employees;
  • Experience working in an union environment is a plus;
  • Sense of ownership with a solution oriented attitude;
